Welcome to Valle dell'Angelo , a tiny town in the Italian countryside. It’s a picturesque little town, surrounded by leafy green forests and beautiful hillsides. The natural beauty of the city is accentuated by the colorful population, a small but diverse group of individuals. Busy streets and storefronts house a tight-knit community. On the surface, the peaceful little town is the perfect place to live; a haven in the hectic every-day world.
The truth of the matter, however, is that behind the lovely veneer is a centuries-old conflict between two feuding parties. Unknown to the majority of the human population of the little town, the Valle dell’Angelo is a haven for vampires and werewolves alike. Living among the humans, disguising their immortal natures, these two groups have long been at odds with one another. Within the two groups themselves, in fact, is dissent- a lasting tension between the ‘vegetarian’ vampires and their more traditional brethren. The werewolves act as guards for the mortals occupying the city, protecting the potential prey from their bloodthirsty predators. The conflict arises not only between these most traditional of vampires and the werewolves, but also between the vegetarians. They are distrusted by the werewolves on suspicion of fraud- the wolves simply refuse to believe the despicable leeches could ever give up their main source of prey.
Tensions have escalated over the long years, suppressed as best as possible to keep it from public notice, but the conflict is beginning to become too turbulent. People are starting to realize something is going on. With tension rising, it’s time to choose sides. The only question now is whose?
The Meeting Room The admins only board, where we plan all sorts of lovely little things for the site. But its all very hush-hush, so don't try to get inside. Secrets are only fun if they're well-kept, right?

THE TOWN;
The Town Square (2 sub-boards) Valle dell'Angelo is a small town, centered around the town square. Small shops line the cobbled square, picturesque and pretty. A beautiful stone fountain sits in the middle of the square, surrounded by carved stone benches and frequented by pigeons.
The Soaring Swan Inn (3 sub-boards) The Soaring Swan is the local apartment building, formerly an inn. The small three story building is a product of the 1700s, having been around since the very beginning of the town. Its been refurbished a few times, but still has the old-style architecture. The former dining room- now lounge- is small and comfortable, and the second and third story rooms are relatively affordable and good sized. The old bar-room has been refurbished into a small cafe, separate from the apartments and is open to the public.

Corso Italia The street called Corso Italia cuts through the center of town, with tall narrow buildings looming over the street, which is of an average width. The sidewalks are dingry from use- its a tiny city, so most people walk to their various destinations- and is often busy. The buildings house the city's slightly poorer population, as well as many of the more traditional vampires.

Liceo Classico The Liceo Classico is the local high-school, generally abhorred by its attendees. The classrooms are small and cozy, just like the rest of the town. Its a smaller building than one might expect for a school, but then again, there just aren't that many students.

Vicolo Dell'Amore The small,winding street is home to a number of pretty little buildings, lining the edges of the street with small patches of garden creeping in between the structures. The narrow street is nearly overshadowed by the closely placed stuctures, rising two stories above the ground, though they are not particularly wide. A myriad of little alleys dart between the houses- for that is what the majority of the buildings are, as evidenced by the clothes lines and window boxes scattered about. Ideal for most, as it is an affordable area to live and is close to many major buildings.

The Hospital of Valle dell'Angelo A hospital is a hospital, pretty much anywhere you go. Clean white rooms, the smell of bleach and slightly unpleasant things. The staff is generally friendly and well trained, happy to do what they can. Of course, seeing as the population of the city is slightly less....human...then one might expect, they encounter many very odd injuries, and so are perhaps more openminded than many doctors.

Saint Maria delle Grazie Saint Maria delle Grazie is the name of an abandoned church. The once gorgeous structure has long since been left to the elements, ivy covering the white-gray stone walls, which have begun to crumble in places. The remnants of pews line the inside, the roof covering most of the room, though there are a few holes. It is supposedly haunted, according to local legend, so the mortals stay away. In reality, it is the home of the scavenging and rogue vampires.
Via Marconi The Via Marconi is a long, wide street that circles through the edges of town and winds past a few major buildings. As close to a suburb as the teeny town will get, the street is lined with houses- both small and large- that house predominantly the human population of the city, though a few vegetarian vampires may reside there.

The Nightingale The Nightingale is the local nightclub, probably the most modern sort of thing in the little town. By day, its a dance studio and by night its a pretty rocking club, where the few local bands can display their talents, or one can simply dance the night away under the strobe lights.

The Leonardo da Vinci Library The local library, affectionately named for Leonardo da Vinci, sits just down the road from the Palazzo, or the town square. The two story building is dusty and dark inside, with light streaming in through high windows. Little study carols dot the second floor, and tall bookshelves line the walls, stretching from the floor to the ceiling. The library holds all the town's records, as well, which means rolls of parchment and leather bound, handwritten tomes can be found lurking in nooks and crannies..
The Mansion (9 sub-boards) Standing on a hill toward the edge of the town, overlooking the shady lake, is a large mansion. The structure is actually a series of villas arranged around a pretty little courtyard. The mansion is home to quite a few people- namely all the richest vampires, each one owning one of the villas.
The Community A small cluster of houses, on the opposite edge of town from the mansion and closer to the caverns, houses the werewolf population of the city- though if you ask a normal person, they'd just say there were lots of dogs running around the area. Affectionately dubbed the little "village" is quite the close knit community, unsurprisingly. Large green fields extend beyond it, before disappearing into the woods and the caverns so treasured by the non-human population of the Valle dell'Angelo.

THE GREAT OUTDOORS;
The Caverns A rocky, hilly area of the forest gives way to a large, open cavern. Cool breezes waft from within and a small stream runs nearby. The secluded, rocky environment makes it ideal for the local werewolves.

The Lake A leafy green clearing toward the edge of the forest is the home to a pristine, crystal blue lake. Large boulders dot the area around it, and a sleek grassy slope continues almost to the very edge of the clear water. Big trees stand around the pool, shading it with large, leafy branches. Its a common getaway for vampires, due to the perpetual shade in the area.
The Hillside The rolling hills of the countryside give way to a beautiful field, covered in bright flowers and vibrant grass. The sprawling, open field is recessed toward the back side of the forests, largely hidden from the town, making it the ideal place for confrontations.
